Where it works
Instagram, TikTok, X and Discord accept these characters in bios, display names, posts and messages. They are Unicode symbols, not a font, so a device without a matching font shows empty boxes. Screen readers may read each letter by its symbol name or skip it, so keep names, links and key info in plain text.

Is gothic text the same as an Old English font?
Here, yes. Old English, gothic, blackletter and Fraktur all describe the same broken-stroke letter style. Unicode calls it Fraktur.
Which gothic styles are there?
Two: Fraktur (๐๐ฌ๐ฑ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ ) and Bold Fraktur (๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐). Bold Fraktur is easier to read on small screens.
Why do C, H, I, R and Z look a bit different?
Those 5 Fraktur capitals (โญ โ โ โ โจ) were in Unicode before the rest of the alphabet, in the Letterlike Symbols block. The generator uses them, so your device may draw them from another font.
Can I use gothic text for a tattoo or logo?
Use it to try out wording. For a tattoo stencil, logo or print, use a real blackletter font file so you control spacing, size and ligatures.
Does gothic text have numbers?
No. Unicode has no Fraktur digits, so numbers stay as normal 0 to 9.
