CGI

En el nivel más básico, las Imágenes Generadas por Computadora (CGI) es la creación de contenido visual estático o animado con software de computadora. CGI comúnmente se refiere a los gráficos 3D por computadora utilizados para crear personajes, escenas y efectos especiales en películas, televisión y videojuegos. El uso de algoritmos puede producir patrones fractales complejos. Los editores de imágenes basados en píxeles 2D pueden crear formas vectoriales. El software de gráficos 3D puede crear desde formas primitivas simples hasta formas complejas hechas de triángulos y cuadriláteros planos.
